Minister, former CM Garam said why cows should not be slaughtered
Animal Husbandry Minister K. has questioned why cows should not be slaughtered. Former Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai said that Venkatesh's statement was surprising and his statement was condemnable.
He has tweeted about this and questioned whether the minister should change the account given to him or please the high command.
As Indians, we have an emotional connection with the cow and worship the cow as a mother. Minister K. Venkatesh has made this kind of statement for whose favor. Bommai tweeted that he should change the account given to him or please the high command.
Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was the first to advocate the ban on cow slaughter. A ban on cow slaughter advocated by Venerable Mahatma Gandhi was enacted in several states in the 1960s. With the minister's statement, large-scale smuggling of cows and illegal factories of mass slaughter of cows are going to rise in the state.
Legislation was introduced during our government to prevent illegal slaughterhouses. No new Act has been brought in Karnataka. He said that the existing law has been enforced.
This kind of statement is reprehensible. As a minister, before you make such a statement, the minister should think. Minister K. on cow slaughter issue. Basavaraja Bommai remarked that there was an urgent need to advise Venkateshva.
